Who the Trail Lite is for
The Trail Lite takes barefoot to the trails: light hiking, forest tracks, weekend routes. The sole carries 3 mm lugs to bite loose ground without giving up the flexibility that makes your foot muscles work.
Straight about the limits: for technical alpine terrain with a heavy pack, take a stiff conventional boot. For the 90% of routes most people actually walk, the Trail Lite is more than enough.

Frequently asked questions
Can you hike in barefoot shoes?
Yes — and it is where barefoot shines: the foot adapts to terrain and the muscles genuinely work. Start with short routes if you come from rigid boots and build distance progressively.
Is the Trail Lite waterproof?
Water-repellent: dew, light mud and shallow puddles are fine. It is not a wellington. For guaranteed rain, accept quick-drying wet feet — the mesh dries fast.
Does it work for trail running?
For easy trail running, yes. If you regularly run long mountain distances, the Run u0026 Move gives a snugger fit.
